About

I truly love what I do! My work involves helping a diverse group of clients of all genders and ages, ranging from newborns to mature adults. My main passion is working with uterus-having folx to assist them in the process of attaining healthy menses and conception, as well as aiding them through the physical changes of pregnancy.

After graduating from Oregon State University with a degree in Biology, I returned to my hometown of Portland, Oregon to pursue my love of science with more of a hands on approach. I attended East-West College of the Healing Arts and became a licensed massage therapist in December of 1999 (OBMT #6851, NCBTMB #336027-00.) Since then I have, by various means, continued to expand my knowledge of the body, how it functions and how it heals.

I feel lucky to have trained directly with Claire Marie Miller in 2011 to become a certified Fertility Massage Specialist. It was in conjunction with this training that I learned about my own menstrual cycle and began to teach women on an individual basis how to chart their cycles. In 2016, I trained in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® which added another level of pelvic and abdominal engagement to my work. While visiting Tanzania in 2017, I had the opportunity to teach a charting class to over 70 women! What a powerful experience that was for me, as well as a door opener. Since that time, I have begun to offer group classes in Portland, Oregon, for Menstrual Charting, as well as Pelvic Steaming, Moon Cycle and Yoni Egg classes. In 2019 and 2020, I added internal pelvic floor work into the mix by studying Holistic Pelvic Care® with Tami Lynn Kent and Healing the Root Pelvic Floor & Uterine Myofascial Release with Kathryn Kloos, ND. I have continued to study in this vein as well as Craniosacral therapy with various folks over the years, including Leslie Stager, LMT, Upledger Institute, Carol Gray and many others.  In 2023 I started to work with apprentices and teach my own unique blend of bodywork through what I call, the Creative Cauldron Connection lens, that integrates Craniosacral massage, energy presence, abdominal and pelvic work.

In each session, whether it be Craniosacral, Pregnancy Massage or Pelvic work,  I focus on what the individual’s body is asking for versus going with a specific protocol. By honoring what is happening in the present moment and what old stories are ready to be released in that precise moment, I am able to more effectively address my client’s issues. It is my pleasure to hold space for your body to unwind and open to the vitality and well-being it deserves.

Outside of work when I’m not off traveling the world and giving FREE HUGS, I’m usually busy hiking, baking, doing martial arts and dancing. Witnessing the growth and stability which comes from the healing process that happens on my table inspired me to also begin offering a monthly Ecstatic Dance for BIPOC in the Portland area. The dances are a powerful way for BIPOC to be in community while safely exploring movement and expression on the dance floor. I find joy in anything that awakens more empowerment and a deeper sense of connection within myself and the people I care for!
